How to start a crossplay session
- Both players must be in the same Game Pass "ring" (PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass).
- Open the in-game Friends menu \u2192 Invite to Co-op.
- Select the friend by Xbox gamertag (works across PC GP and console).
- Accept on the second device. Session starts in the host's save.
Why Steam is not bridged yet
Steam co-op runs on Steam's peer-to-peer networking, while Game Pass / Xbox uses Microsoft's services. Bridging the two requires a server-side networking layer the launch build does not ship. The developer has acknowledged the request on the official Discord but has not committed to a release window.

Yes — PC Game Pass and Xbox players can join the same co-op session. The matchmaking handles platform handoff automatically; just send a co-op invite via the in-game friends menu.

Steam ↔ Xbox crossplay was not enabled at launch. Steam co-op is Steam-only; Game Pass / Xbox players form their own pool. The developer has not committed to a Steam↔Xbox bridge.
