Common map questions

How big is the Outbound map?

The world covers roughly 4 km² of drivable terrain split between four interconnected biomes. There are no loading screens between biomes — transitions are seamless.

Is there an in-game map in Outbound?

Yes — press M (keyboard) or Touchpad / Select (gamepad) to open the world map. It auto-fills as you explore. You can drop custom pins (right-click) and toggle resource overlays.

Can I fast-travel in Outbound?

Limited — each signal tower you power becomes a fast-travel beacon. There are 7 total beacons across the four biomes. The van itself does not teleport, but you can teleport on foot to a beacon and drive back when needed.
