Pin landmarks, follow waypoints, stack up to 5 pins, and use Homing Boots for a real-time on-screen arrow.

Game version 1.0Updated 2026-05-11Platform: Steam (PC)

The 30-second answer

 1. Open the map: M (keyboard) or Touchpad / Select (gamepad).
 2. Hover over the landmark icon.
 3. Press T (keyboard) or click RS (gamepad) to pin it.
 4. Close the map. A small waypoint icon appears at the top of your HUD.

Pair this with Homing Boots for a real-time on-screen arrow that follows the pin as you move.

Landmark types you can pin

 • Signal Towers — 7 total across the four biomes.
 • Ruins / POIs — marked on the map after first sighting.
 • NPC hubs — Coastline trader, Mountain hermit, etc.
 • Custom markers — right-click any spot on the map to drop a custom pin.

Stacking multiple waypoints

You can keep up to 5 pins active. They appear as numbered tags in the HUD. The Homing Boots arrow always picks the closest one; tap the boot toggle key twice to cycle the priority.

Co-op landmark sharing

By default, pins are personal. The host can toggle Shared Pins in Map → Settings; shared pins appear in a different colour for all players. Useful for "meet here" routing without voice chat.
